Truth Muse
Who we are

Two people,
one conviction.

truthmuse.org is the non-profit arm of Truth Muse. We want to bring people closer to God and make visible, worldwide, what God does in people's lives. The Devotional Deck brought Scripture back into people's hands; Be Still brings a daily quiet moment onto their phones; this map shows what happens when those moments are shared.

Kim Schouten

Founder of Truth Muse · Devotional Deck

Kim grew up in a Christian home and knew about God, but for years chased happiness and meaning on her own strength: a treadmill that kept speeding up. In 2023 that changed. Jesus stepped in, right in the middle of the mess, and brought a peace that did not make sense. Out of that came Truth Muse: a marketing professional and designer who now uses her craft to put God's Word back in people's hands, without commentary or noise. Pure Scripture, beautifully made, for seasoned believers and for people who have never opened a Bible.

Gerard van der Hoeven

Entrepreneur and engineer · idea and build of Be Still · Neveoh BV

Gerard has spent more than 25 years building things that give people and organisations more freedom: his first company in 1996, a European trust framework for sharing data (iSHARE Foundation, which he leads), 3D-printed sustainable homes (Silva Villas) and new ventures through Neveoh. He has written a cookbook for data spaces and spoken on more than a hundred stages. His conviction is Buckminster Fuller's: you do not change things by fighting what exists; you build a new model that makes the old one obsolete. Be Still is such a model, small on purpose: one fixed moment a day with God, without notifications or a feed, with nothing but a line of Scripture and silence. And afterwards one question that turns a private moment outward: where did you sense God's love today? Together those answers become the map on this page: a quiet, growing witness of how far His love reaches.

Our drive

We believe God is at work everywhere, every day, and that most of it goes unnoticed. A moment of stillness helps you notice. Sharing what you noticed, anonymously, helps others see it too. That is the whole idea: be still, notice, tell.

Non-profit

Everything on this site is free and stays free: no ads, no accounts, no data trade. Truth Muse's shop funds the work; truthmuse.org is where the fruit becomes visible.
